Steven McCarty is a human resources executive with nearly three decades of experience in a variety of HR and Talent roles around the country. He focuses on high growth business conditions, helping HR people develop, and innovative but simplified solutions that are easily implemented by non-HR professionals.
Before launching his consultancy, Steve was with Enterprise Holdings where he was promoted into a variety of positions of increasing responsibility. He served as their global Vice President for Talent Development, their VP of Human Resources in Florida, and as a Corporate HR professional supporting the American Midwest.
Before Enterprise, McCarty spent several years at Citibank and Toys R Us; he has also been a small business owner and investor.
On the community side, Steve has served various non-profits over the years including the Sawgrass Nature Center, the Broward Business Leadership Network, FOCUS St. Louis, Lutheran Family Services and Learning Gate School. He has also been a foster parent and feels that "to those whom much is given, much is expected."
McCarty earned his bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University in New Jersey and his MBA from the University of Florida. He is certified as an HRCI senior professional in human resources and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional.
